Project Description:
This was a project for a Wood Competition. The requirements were
to build a primarily wood structure, including a single room lab elevated
eight feet above the ground and an observation tower. The building is
located in a cornfield at the edge of town.
Modeled and rendered with formZ RenderZone.

PI's Comments:
This student was clearly able to take advantage of the electronic tools
both for analyzing the programmatic requirements of this project, and for
compositing his final solution. He was then able to produce a complete presentation,
including line drawings and photorealistic images, in a fraction of the
time it would have required to do the same project by hand, and at a significantly
higher level of quality.
Jury Comments:
Robert Wandel:
The 3rd year student explores wood construction with modeling techniques
made easy with formZ. The falling or tumbling quality of
the sticks in the corn field is probably more literal than structural.
