Software Developer - 3D Modeling

AutoDesSys, Inc. is seeking a software engineer with expertise in Nurbs and other innovative surface and solid modeling techniques to join the formZ development team. This person will be responsible for the design, implementation and enhancement of surface modeling operations such as, surface generation, blending, trimming, freeform modeling and a variety of computational geometry tasks.

Requirements:

Consideration will be given to a variety of education and professional backgrounds including Engineering, CAD, Computer Science, Industrial Design, or Mathematics:

• Minimum 3 years experience in the implementation of surface and/or solid modeling.
• A MS or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Design or related field, or equivalent experience.
• A solid understanding of surface modeling techniques, algorithms, implementations methods.
• Good in verbal and written communication in English.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively with a team of developers.
• Knowledgeable in C development tools on Windows and/or OS X Skills.

Additional useful experiences:

• Experience with industry standard CAD libraries such as ACIS and Parasolid.
• Experience with 3D modeling applications tools such as formZ, SolidWorks, Pro-E, Maya or 3D studio.
• Experience with the design process and 3D design skills.

Application Build/Release Engineer

AutoDesSys, Inc. is seeking a build and release engineer to manage the building of a cross platform application suite. This person will be responsible for all application build process development and execution including daily engineering builds, final release builds, installers, on-line delivery of updates.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years as a build and release engineer or equivalent experience.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Knowledgeable in C development tools on Windows, UNIX and/or OS X.
• Strong scripting skills using UNIX, Windows, Python and other applicable scripting and automation systems and using these to develop successful automated build systems. 
• Experience building multi-platform software and experience with cross-compilation environments 
• Knowledgeable in version control systems.
• Experience with installer software
• Ability to debug build problems and implement solutions.
• Good in verbal and written communication in English.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively with a team of developers.

Additional useful experiences:

• Experience with 3D applications.
• Experience with application licensing techniques.
• Experience with HTML, ftp and TCP/IP.
• Experience with automated testing and QA systems.
• Experience with electronic commerce.
